The National Human-Animal Bond Awareness Day 2026 will take place Redwings Horse Sanctuary on Sunday 19th July. The day is free to attend between 10am-4pm. Dogs are welcome.

The event is being held at Redwings Caldecott, Beccles Road, Fritton, Gt Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR31 9EY

There will be one competition you will want to enter if you are attending the day.

Hercule Van Wolfwinkle will be judging your attempts at drawing your own companions.

Bring along the drawing of your pet with the original image you based your drawing on.

Entries will need to be in before 12.45pm as Hercule will judge them at 1pm. The winner will have their own portrait drawn by Hercule after the day itself.
